Profile
Shekher Kishore is an Australia-based education and skills professional whose career brings together operational leadership, vocational education, institutional development, quality management and skills initiatives outside Australia.
As Director of Outreach Consultancy Services he advises vocational education providers and education institutions on their operations, governance, quality assurance systems and regulatory practice. That work has taken him through registrations, audits, funding programs, acquisitions and the long slow business of making an institution better than it was.
His approach joins strategic understanding to practical implementation. Because sustainable outcomes depend on more than policy and curriculum, he gives particular weight to institutional leadership, educator capability, management systems, industry relevance and a habit of continuous improvement.
Alongside his advisory work he has been involved in community-based vocational training initiatives in India and Kenya that widen access to practical skills and livelihoods. That involvement shapes how he thinks about inclusion and local ownership in any program he advises on.
Through Outreach he wants to contribute to stronger education and skills systems across Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific, Timor-Leste and Asia.
