ISO management systems, audit and compliance

ISO 21001, 9001 and 19011 made to fit an education institution, not the other way round.

Two people reviewing a document together at a table

International management standards give an organisation a disciplined way to run: clear responsibility, risk-based decisions, evidence and continual improvement. Used well in education, they stop quality being something that happens before an audit and make it part of how the institution operates.

We help education and service organisations understand, implement and review management systems aligned with ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 21001 for educational organisations and ISO 19011 for auditing management systems. Where an institution also answers to a national regulator, we map the two so that one system serves both, rather than two systems competing for the same people.

What we do

  • Gap analysis against ISO 9001 and ISO 21001
  • Management system design and documentation
  • Internal audit programs under ISO 19011
  • Management review and corrective action
  • Mapping ISO requirements to national education regulatory standards
  • Staff capability in quality management and internal auditing
  • Certification readiness

What we leave behind

We turn international standards into the way an organisation actually runs, and prepare it for independent certification where that is the goal.

Typical deliverables

  • Gap analysis
  • Management system and documentation
  • Internal audit program and reports
  • Corrective action plan
  • Certification readiness plan

Outreach is an independent advisory and internal audit provider. We are not a certification body, and certification can only be granted by an accredited body. ISO 19011 is guidance for auditing and is not itself certifiable.

Working on iso and assurance?

Tell us where things stand. The first conversation costs nothing and tells both of us whether we should work together.
